Lawn clipping disposal

Postby PRW » Sun May 22, 2005 7:54 am

When I cut my lawn I like to collect the grass clippings
Is there someone/someplace where I could ?donate/contribute? the clippings?

Thank you,

maybe you should start yourself a compost pile.

Or a mulching mower so you don't have to worry about collecting up grass (unless it grows too long)

Lawn clippings

Am considering all options: bagging, mulching mower, compose.

But the grass does grow long for the amount of time I have to cut it and space isn't really available for a compose pile.

Is there a comminuty compose? Maybe one should be started. Any ideas on who I could contact?

It would be nice if there was a community compost pile or a community garden. Although community gardens usually end up being neglected unless the city is taking care of it.
