I have not tried the food but it is a great place to have a drink and chill. The front half of the bar is kind like a tiki bar theme and the back has a fireplace and sofas. Good place to go with friends to talk. Have the fu-fu drinks with the umbrellas if that is your thing also.

Although it is not related to food, how come they don't have beer on tap???

I tried the pizza here and I was suprised, it was really good. The bruschetta was awesome. My girl loved the chocolate martinis.

It is a classy place, no need for a "poor man's special" I'm guessing.

Try the Italian Burger. Yum!

Having draft beer cuts the waste of bottles. They toss most of what they have in the Post Tribune dumpster instead of recycling. If that's the way of a "better" class of consuming is then I opt for a bar with a conscience.

No tap equals more volume of bottle waste. Which means any other bar in Crown Town would be the wise choice for the environment. If you were really concerned I'd ask what they do with the empties. Not to say that Russ Meyers guy is shallow-perhaps he really want to be more informed.

That's flawed thinking, just because there are no taps does not mean that it creasts the most waste.

Plus, you launch a personal attack on me in the second part of your post, let me guess, you vote Democrat right?

Man, when one debates liberals, one should expect personal attacks.

When you made your comment about, throwing bottles in the trash, I could have asked how'd you know unless you were a dumpster diver, but I didn't. I just figured that you lived in the old apartment building behind the place, and worked at Walmart judging from your screen name.

If you got honked off that I refered to draft beer as the poor man's special, I will tell you that I didn't invent the term, that is simply what it is reffered to. That's why the words are in quotation marks.

My only intent was to make the observation that they had upscale clientel.
Who usually don't drink draft beer.

I didn't think I would get attacked making a passing comment.
